3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
5 tbsp butter
178ml milk
FOR THE FILLING
133g brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
2 tsp cinnamon
FOR THE FROSTING
50g cream cheese
100g butter
300g icing sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
1tbsp of milk
1. Preheat the oven to 180C
2. Weigh the flour and add the sugar, baking powder and salt and mix together.
3. Using your fingertips, add the butter and work into the flour so it resembles breadcrumbs
4. Add the milk and mix together using a spatula into dough. Add more flour if the mixture is sticky
5. Flour your work surface and knead the dough - you can still add more flour if needed!
6. When the dough no longer sticks to your table it is ready to be rolled into a long rectangle
7. Use a knife to butter the dough covering the surface. Then sprinkle on the brown sugar and cinnamon. Now starting from one end begin to roll
8. Cut the rolled dough to a thickness of 1 inch - or 2.5cm. Then place the rolls face down onto a butter cake pan
9. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes
10. Whilst baking it's time to make the frosting. Bix together the butter and cream cheese. Then add the icing sugar, vanilla extract and milk
11. Once the rolls are baked, let them cool for about 5 minutes then smother on the frosting
